Fees for Live Scan Fingerprinting:
Rolling fees cover only the operator's cost for rolling the fingerprint
images. Additional processing fees are required for the State
(DOJ) and Federal (FBI) level criminal history record checks.
Other fees may also be required (i.e., license fees, child abuse index,
DSS, etc.)
- Department of Justice - $32.00
- Federal Bureau of Investigation - $19.00
- Department of Social Services - $10.00
- Child Abuse Index - $15.00
- Agency Rolling Fee - $25.00-$30.00
If
your Request for Live Scan Form has a "Billing Number" (Bil #) included
you will only be charged the "Agency Rolling Fee" per person.

Exempt, Charitable Organizations, Non-Profit Groups & City/County
offices may have special rates determined by the State & Federal
Government, please call for exact quote.
Fees for FBI ink Hard cards:
- $30.00 per person (two card maximum)
Notary Fees:
- $10.00 per signature
- $30.00 travel fee*
*within a 30 mile radius from the City of Chico Governmental offices.
If you are located outside of this area, additional mileage fees may apply. Please call for more information.
BUSINESSES AND GROUPS MAY BE ENTITLED TO A
10-20% DISCOUNT ON AGENCY ROLLING FEES. BILLING
SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE TO ORGANIZATIONS
AND BUSINESSES.
